Ramon Fuetardo, better known as “China” to most, is very ill. Just months ago, his life was thrown upside down when he was diagnosed with auto-immune hepatitis, stage-4 cirrhosis of the liver. His condition worsened quickly to the point that he was placed in the ICU. His doctors at Intermountain Medical Center have told China he is in need of a lifesaving liver transplant.
You may know China as one of Ryder’s mechanics where he has been employed for five years. On any given day, he could be found helping out a friend whose car needs fixing. Or you may know China from his involvement at church or perhaps you’ve met him through his family: Kortny, his wife or Korvon and Tyson, his sons. China’s greatest joy is looking forward to the graduation of his first son this May.
After many years of helping others, China is now the one who needs your help. Transplants are life-saving but financially draining. Even with insurance, China must pay many medically-related expenses out-of-pocket such as co-pays and deductibles, clinic visits and follow-up doctor visits. He’ll need to take immuno-suppressant medications for the rest of his life and they are enormously expensive.
To help with the financial burden of China’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Midwest/West Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider a contribution.

Thank you in advance for your prayers, generosity and support. If we all work together we can make China’s prospects for the future much brighter
