Many of you know Robbie from growing up in and around Lawrenceville, Georgia. Robbie lost his home in the 2007 housing crisis and must now live with his mother in Lawrenceville. He has been a hard worker all his life and has always helped others.
Robbie is now disabled due to liver disease. Three years ago he was diagnosed with cirrhosis and since that time, he’s endured many hospital stays and procedures. Robbie is now facing his biggest challenge which is a life or death struggle. His family can’t afford the massive bills to keep him alive.
Transplants are life-saving but very expensive. Emory University Hospital won’t even put Robbie on the transplant list until he has raised several thousand dollars. Then he will need more for his post-transplant care.
Robbie has chosen to fundraise with HelpHOPELive in part because HelpHOPELive assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for donors. Donors can be sure that funds donated will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Donate Now button.
