Thaddeus Brown is a 61-year-old father and husband who is very ill. Thaddeus’ life was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with hepatitis C and cirrhosis of the liver in 2008. His condition gradually worsened, and in August 2014, he was diagnosed with liver cancer. After years of struggling with liver disease, a liver transplant is now his only hope for survival. However, the cost of a transplant can be extremely overwhelming.

You may know Thaddeus as “Mr. Hustle Man” from Straight Edge Barber Shop in Long Island, NY, or the man notorious for the infamous “glory cake.” You may also know him from his volunteer endeavors with the less fortunate and feeding the homeless in downtown Atlanta. Not only does Thaddeus play the roles of husband and father, he has also, throughout the years, played the role of counselor, mentor, and most importantly, friend to many others.
