Latavia Jewels Martinez is a 28-year-old young lady who was diagnosed with kidney failure and recently found to have cirrhosis of the liver. Her only hope for a healthy future is a kidney and liver transplant. Latavia, or Tavia as she is known to family and friends, grew up in Northern Arizona where she attended kindergarten and part of elementary school. Tavia completed high school in Southern Arizona, and graduated from the Living Word Academy Christian School in Sells, AZ. She was very interested in continuing her education, but she had to stop school due to her illness. Tavia is very talented in working with the computers and the social media.
My daughter is a sweet and precious young Navajo Indian who lives with her family in Tucson, AZ. Tavia is now on dialysis and goes to Fresenius dialysis treatment three times a week in addition to seeing her doctor on a regular basis.
