Norm White is a 58-year-old man who is very ill. After losing his wife in January, 2014, he was admitted to the hospital in May with a diagnosis of end-stage renal disease (ERSD). Norm was placed on dialysis and told that his only chance at a healthy life would be to have a kidney transplant. But he will need your help in order to make this life-saving surgery a reality.

Norm grew up in Zelienople, PA and graduated from Seneca Valley High School. He then served in the U.S. Army for three years — becoming a Specialist 4 as a Military Police Officer stationed in Sinop, Turkey and Vint Hill Farms, Warrenton, VA. In 1981, he married Debbie Rubenstein in Cleveland, OH. Norm and Debbie were married for 33 years and raised three children, Matthew, Ashley and Theresa. During that time, Norm was a restaurant manager for 16 years and then moved on to the retail security profession for 20 years. He worked at Marriott, Golden Corral Steakhouse, Wal-mart and Lowes. In 2010 Norm left Lowes to serve as primary caregiver to his wife and his mentally handicapped son. His family remains very supportive and hopeful that a transplant is in his future.
