Shannon’s life changed dramatically when he was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and learned that he was in need of a liver transplant. After extensive evaluations at Henry Ford Hospital, he was informed he was a good candidate for this life-saving surgery.
You may know Shannon from Holland, MI, or through his work at Louis Padnos Iron and Metal where he worked for over 20 years as a millwright and welder lead man, or just from the people in the community who know him. Shannon has many challenges in front of him. He is a single father of seven children (six of which are two sets of triplets) and three grandchildren. One of his primary challenges right now is meeting his family’s financial needs.
