Luis Needs a Lifesaving Kidney Transplant!

Luis Felipe Calderon is in desperate need of a kidney transplant. In 2012, he was diagnosed with end-stage-renal-disease (kidney failure), and a kidney transplant is his only hope for survival. Luis undergoes lengthy dialysis treatments, which leave him emotionally and physically exhausted by the end of each day. Due to his illness, Luis is weak and has developed severe body aches, and he is unable to work, drive or support his family at this time.

On a personal level, Luis is a native of Puerto Rico, and both his family and love for God are center to his life. Luis and his wife, Noelia have five daughters and eight young grandchildren! His mother lives in Puerto Rico, but travelling to see her has been almost impossible with his illness. Luis’s large family is committed to seeing him through his upcoming kidney transplant. They drive him back and forth to the dialysis center, attend each and every doctor’s appointment, and are actively involved in finding Luis the gift of life, through a living kidney donor.
