Over three days per week, Marylou undergoes a strict regimen of dialysis, which costs her over $1000 per month. She has recently been approved for her transplant at the University of Virginia, but her surgery is on hold until she raises over $15,000. Even with health insurance, co-pays, deductibles, travel fees, relocation expenses, and anti-rejection medications that Marylou will need for the rest of her life, continue to add up and are expected to costs thousands of dollars.
To help with this financial burden, a fundraising campaign in Marylou’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Atlantic Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
Marylou has a warm heart and strong will to live and spend time with her grandchildren. She has a strong faith in God and is an active member of her local church. Marylou has taken care of and helped others her whole life; now it is time to help Marylou!
Thank you in advance for your prayers, support and generosity.
Gratefully,
Tammy Fields, Marylou’s daughter
