Help Leonard Get a Kidney Transplant

Leonard Samartino is in total kidney failure and needs a kidney transplant. Leonard’s kidney disease began in 2005 and worsened to the point that he began dialysis in 2010. Since dialysis is never a permanent solution, he is now approaching the top of the transplant list to receive a kidney. Though transplants are life-saving, they are extremely expensive and Leonard will need help with the associated costs of food, housing and multiple trips to and from the hospital.

Leonard has been playing music since childhood. He is a master of his instrument, an exceptional musical talent. Playing music has been Leonard’s saving grace during this time of debilitating disease. Leonard looks forward to returning to playing live performances when he feels better. Friends and fans miss his musical spark that has been quieted as he battles this disease.
