Terri Needs Our Help!

Terri is a 51-year old woman who is very ill. After years of struggling with end-stage renal failure, a kidney transplant is her only hope for survival. Terri is now completely dependent on peritoneal dialysis, which she undergoes at home every night for 12-15 hours. Terri is one of the kindest people you’d ever hope to meet and she needs our help. The cost of a transplant can be overwhelming.

Terri grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, and has worked her entire life. However, by 2013, Terri’s health had progressively gotten so much worse that she was left with only one option- to resign from her job at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Terri has 2 children and 2 grandchildren who she loves very dearly. It is Terri’s wish to receive the gift of life – a kidney transplant- to be able to travel a distance the spend time with her grandsons who live in another state.
