Robert “Robbie” Moore is a 46 year old man who is very ill. After a couple of years struggling with a stroke, diabetes, and kidney issues, a kidney transplant is his only hope for a long life.
A kind, loving, Christian man, Robbie grew up in Boiling Springs, NC and graduated from Crest High School. He worked in many types of occupations, the last being the hospitality business; Robbie used his Christian ways to treat the various people he met with kindness. Together, Robbie and his family are committed to seeing him through this transplant.
Transplants are lifesaving but financially draining. Even with insurance, Robbie is facing very high expenses including the cost of very expensive post-transplant medications that he will have to take for the rest of his life, hotel stays to be closer to the transplant center around the time of transplant, co-pays, lab fees, deposits pre-transplant.
To help with the financial burden of Robert’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Atlantic Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider making a contribution; any donation helps and gives Robbie hope for the future.
Thank you for your prayers, support and generosity. Keep an eye on this campaign page because we will be planning some fundraising events soon and posting updates regularly.
