Dear Family and Friends,
On behalf of Paul and Andrianna West, we are writing to their concerned circle of family and friends. Andrianna is a loving wife, devoted daughter, caring sister, and fantastic aunt. With her kind and thoughtful ways, she is a beloved friend of many. She has touched the lives of countless people, including hundreds of military personnel, in their academic and career growth with her teaching, counseling and training programs.
Andrianna’s life took a dramatic turn approximately three years ago when she was diagnosed with peripheral T-cell lymphoma – an uncommon, often fatal, form of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. As testament to her bravery and fighting spirit, Andrianna has endured three arduous courses of chemotherapy and is undergoing her fourth!
The great news is she is responding now so well that her medical team recommends she move forward with a stem cell transplant. This offers her the best hope of survival. The stem cell transplant will be at Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU). It requires one month of hospitalization and several months of intensive follow-up with 24/7 caregiving.
Because of the extraordinary expense of stem cell transplantation, Paul and Andrianna need your help! Even with health insurance, there will be numerous uncovered expenses such as deductibles, copays, and medications. Fundraising becomes vital to the overall success of Andrianna’s struggle to survive. This is why we are writing to you.
To help offset her uninsured costs, a fundraising campaign in Andrianna’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive (formerly NTAF), a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for nearly 30 years. All contributions are tax deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Northwest Stem Cell Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. You can help make a difference in Andrianna’s life.
Please, if you can, make your donation today. Any level of support, large or small, will be most helpful and appreciated.Together, we can make a critical difference and help give Andrianna her second chance! We thank you for your kindness and generosity. Please keep Paul and Andrianna in your thoughts and prayers.
With sincere gratitude,

Cleo and Jim Martino

Just wanted you to know I received your note and hope it means you are doing well. With all you are unfairly enduring... you are sooo thoughtful to be thinking of others. But, that's just how you roll! Know that I'm thinking of you too and if you want to write: kvantran3682@verizon.net I'd love to hear about YOU! I will be OK, getting stronger, and will have my voice back to normal in no time. Love and hugs,

Andrianna & Paul . . .
Today is the beginning of a new year and I'm wishing you both only the best in the coming year . . . many new adventures and discoveries. 2012 has a good rhythm to it, a good vibe even, so my expectations are high but need to remember it's the every day "living in the moments" that count. May you both live them well . . .

New Year hugs,
Dennis
