I believe you know how I hate asking for help, but I know it is time to ask for help. We are in need of a new accessible vehicle, and we don’t know how we are going to get one without assistance. We have tried to win one for the last couple years, and we haven’t been successful. We believe it is time to ask for help from our community. It’s very difficult for us to do.
As many of you know, I travel around doing speaking engagements and mentoring people who are beginning to use speech devices. I have limited those engagements because I don’t have a reliable vehicle. We were actually stuck in May because the van broke down on the other side of the state of Michigan. This has limited us from going to see family, and to do a lot more speaking in other states. This is why I am asking you to make a small donation to this cause. Dawn and I would really appreciate your assistance.
I chose this organization because it is a not for profit organization. All of your donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. All of your donations will go to the cause of purchasing a new vehicle. We aren’t asking everybody to donate a lot. We believe a little from a lot of people will go a long way. If you aren’t able to donate or don’t want to donate, that is okay. Like I said, we don’t necessarily like doing this, but it is out of a necessity.
Thank you for considering donating, and thank you for your support.
is time for the end of the year push. We're almost at our goal, so please consider supporting our cause. Thank you for all of the support you have given to us.
We are just over the 24,000 mark. We are excited for our next fundraiser on August 3. We are looking forward to seeing all of you there for a great time. We'll celebrate together, and share food together. I'm looking forward to it!
Hey everybody! We're hoping to get several people to walk or run a virtual 5k with us on May 14th. You can get sponsors, which will help us build on our fundraising efforts for a new vehicle. I believe we will have more information on the website soon!
We're also hosting a silent auction dinner May 14th as well. You will be able to purchase tickets on here soon! Looking forward to seeing you there!
We are almost at $7000! I want to thank you for your support, and encourage you to pass on this link. We feel so blessed to have a community around us that is willing to help Us out. There are many causes more worth than this, so we do thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We'll keep you posted!
We are ready to bite the bullet and ask for help. We are grateful for all of you and find it difficult asking for you to help us. Thank you for considering donating to this cause!
