On November 09th, our prayers were answered and Bridgett and Dwight were called and informed of a match for both of them!
They have been scheduled for surgery for December the 15th. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this time. We are grateful for the donor and we pray that all have a speedy recovery.

Dear Friends, Family and Community,
My sister in law, Bridgett Isley is in desperate need of a life-saving kidney transplant. Four years ago she was diagnosed with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FCGS), a debilitating disease that attacked her kidneys. The past two years she has been completely dependent on dialysis, which she undergoes at home every night. She is very lucky because her loving husband Dwight is a match and will be giving her the ultimate gift of life – on of his kidneys.
Bridgett is the wonderful mother to Brandon, Ryan, Jordan, Grandmother of Kingston, and good friend to many. Bridgett’s greatest joy is her family and she is looking forward to spending time with her family and friends and becoming an active member of the community again. She has a great attitude about life, living it to the fullest and in abundance, is a woman of faith and believes that she is going to return to good health and has placed it in God’s hand.
As you can imagine, the cost of a life-saving transplant is very expensive. Even with insurance there are many expenses that are not covered and must be paid out of pocket. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles, lab fees, travel to and from the transplant center and Bridget will be on a life-time of anti-rejection medications. In addition Dwight will be out of work for a period of time while he heals from the surgery. This puts our family up against a challenge we cannot meet alone and need your help.
A fundraising campaign in her honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Atlantic Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider a contribution.
