Robert is a husband, son, brother, friend and father of four. He has been living with kidney disease for years. For the past 1.5 years he has been on dialysis and he is at the point where he now needs a kidney transplant.
Robert has always been a strong, happy and positive person. He always is there for his friends and family, especially his children. He never misses a football game, band competition or anything else his kids are involved in, even on his bad days.
Although Robert has health insurance, the out of pocket expenses post transplant are extremely high. Robert will need to take anti-rejection medicines for the rest of his life to keep his new kidney healthy. He has been told to anticipate
of $5,000, or more, per month for medication alone.
Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of Robert’s transplant allowing Robert to focus on his recovery and a healthy, happy life ahead with his friends and family.
