Day 70 UPDATE (Day 6 off the transplant list- status 7). The blood infection seems to be getting progressively better. No fevers for two days. Blood cultures look good. We are having some issues with my blood pressure and oxygen levels dropping, but are working to fix it. My echo had some unclear information. Teams are meeting tomorrow to discuss the results. We are hoping they clear me so that they can put the swan back in my neck & re-list me as Status 1A (active on list). Fingers crossed that I get good news tomorrow and that the swan surgery goes smoothly.

Make good use of today & collect moments, not things.

John, I'm another HelpHopeLive client waiting for lungs in PA. I've been officially waiting since March, & I get the need for support & kind words, believe me (I saw your appeal on Twitter). I commend you for asking for good energy. It's important but can be hard to do for people. I wish you all the best for this to happen soon so you can start your road to recovery.
