Terrance “Turk” Prince, the son of Park and Margie Prince of Elmore City, Oklahoma is in need of a liver transplant and needs the help of his community to make it happen. Transplants are life savers, however very expensive.
Two years ago, Turk was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, which is chronic damage from a variety of causes leading to scarring and liver failure. He is no longer able to do the things he loves to do, participate in car shows, ride horses, traveling, giving back to his community and enjoying time with his family and most of all his grand children.
After years of giving back and helping others, he is now the one who needs our help. Transplantation and follow up medications and treatments are very expensive. Turk will still have co-pays and deductibles, medications and clinic visits, that he will be responsible for. He will need the medications to help his body accept the new liver once transplantation takes place, as it will be foreign to his body. He will also have to go in for check-ups to make sure his body is recovering and accepting the transplant. All of these costs could reach up to $30,000 even with Medicare coverage.
To help with the financial burden of Turk’s expenses not covered under his insurance, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted non-profit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Central Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please, consider a contribution.

If we all work together we can make Turk’s future much brighter. Please know that your contribution matters and on behalf of Turk and his Family, we thank you in advance for your prayers, support, and contributions.
With sincere gratitude,
