This past June, Garrett Bradley’s world drastically changed. The 31-year-old artistic director of the Owosso Community Players, had sudden heart failure from a severe case of cardiomyopathy. He was rushed to the University of Michigan Hospital where his condition quickly progressed. Garrett was in full blown heart failure, and was told that without a lifesaving heart transplant, his time would quickly run out. He was immediately admitted and placed on urgent status for a lifesaving heart transplant.
Just two days later, Garrett’s cardiologist told him the miraculous news that a “beautiful heart” was available for transplant. By the next morning, Garrett was blessed with the gift of life through a successful heart transplant. He is slowly but surely getting stronger each and every day, and on his way back to good health. While Garrett recovers, he desperately needs our help as his medical bills are mounting and the cost of his transplant is monumental and financially draining.
