Please Support My Stem Cell Transplant Quest

My name is Allen and I’m a dad, a friend to many, and a 35 year member of West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department. As many of you know, I have had Multiple Sclerosis (MS) since age 25. For the past 12 years, I have had to use a wheelchair as my disease has become more debilitating. I am not able to feed, bathe or transfer in or out of my wheel chair. I have not been able to drive my handicap van for over the last 3 years. After researching many options that might be available to help me, I have found that I am a candidate for an “Autologous Stem” Cell Transplant. I am asking for your help so that I can undergo this treatment and stop the downward spiral of my MS.

If you are watching this page closely, you'll notice that I just raised the fundraising goal from $14,000 to $15,000. The total amount raised that you see is before HelpHOPELive has taken their fee (which they take for things like providing this webpage for me!) I need to make sure that I have the full $14,000 after fees, set aside for treatment and travel. Thank you so much for everyone who is supporting me!

Thank you to those who are donating. Please understand that when you make a donation, the yellow progress bar won't move immediately. HelpHOPELive will manually upload the new donations at the end of each business day.

I am now 32, and have been battling RRMS since I was 27. Thank you for your service in the Volunteer Fire Department and for being an inspiration to everyone fighting this disease. Keep fighting the good fight and best of luck in your transplant quest!
