My loving wife, Diana Gallegos Jackson suffers from cirrhosis and has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer. Her doctors at the University of Colorado Medical Center have told us that her only option is a life-saving liver transplant. This will occur after they have operated to remove the cancer from her liver.
Diana is 56 years old, a wonderful mother to her four children, grandmother of eight, and good friend to many. Unfortunately, she is no longer able to work or do many things she has always enjoyed. She looks forward to spending time with her children and grandchildren and becoming an active member of the community again.
Even with health insurance, there are still many expenses that must be paid out of pocket. Some of these are 20% co-pays, deductibles, lab fees, and travel back and forth to the hospital in Denver and relocation expenses at the time of transplant. In addition, Diana will be on a life-time of anti-rejection medications. This is where your support is desperately needed.
To help with the financial burden of a transplant, a fundraising campaign in Diana’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Midwest/West Liver Transplant Fund and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider a contribution.

On behalf of Diana and our families, thank you for your kindness, generosity, support and prayers.
