Dear Friends, Family and Community,
My loving wife, Dana Herring, received a life-saving lung transplant in 2012. Her lungs are working very well but sadly, the anti-rejection medications she must take daily have destroyed her kidneys. She is now on dialysis and is waiting for a life-saving kidney transplant. We have a very special person who is a compatible donor is in the final stages of testing who would like to give Dana the ultimate Gift of Life.

Have had several set backs this Spring and Summer, but I am still here, by the grace of God! In April I spent at Vanderbilt with a multi system failure, on a ventilator for 9 days and then rehab to get to where I could stand and walk on my own again. the n This month my immune system dropped to almost zero, so that geot me another 7 days in the hospital to build up my immune system and treat an infection. I am so thankful God put Butch in my life, he has been thru and helped me through so much! I have been blessed!

Time is fast approaching, preadmission testing next week! Transplant in 4!!!!! Thank you Carrie for saving my life!
