Help Ben Get His New Kidney and Pancreas

My husband, Ben Butler of Raleigh, NC is in need of a kidney and pancreas transplant and needs the help of our community to make it happen. Transplants are lifesaving but very expensive. Even with insurance, the costs for the post-transplant medications alone can run into the thousands of dollars. This is why we need your help.

A year ago, 54-year-old Ben was diagnosed with kidney failure due to his diabetes. He now undergoes dialysis three days a week, four hours each visit. Due to this, he has lost 60 pounds and frequently feels sick. Ben cannot travel unless he can find a nearby dialysis center. This has greatly changed his life. Ben can no longer enjoy the activities he once loved, such as going to NASCAR races, because the walk to the seats exhausts him too much. He can’t ride his motorcycle anymore and he had to leave his job due to this disability. He can’t even take his beloved Pomeranian Nelson on long walks anymore.
