On August 15, 2015 Kevin Dusablon’s life changed forever following a serious car accident that left him paralyzed from the shoulders down. Kevin was diagnosed with quadriplegia, having sustained damage to the C4 vertebrae of his spine. Kevin (20) attended the University of New Hampshire and is the oldest of Dineen and Steven Dusablon’s three children.

After three weeks at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, including two surgeries, Kevin was transferred to Spaulding Rehabilitation in Charlestown. He has received excellent care and could be heading home as soon as late November. Kevin is in good spirits, working hard every day despite ongoing challenges and is determined to make as much progress as possible. He is very driven to gain independence and live a long and full life.

Hi Kevin, I read the story about your injury in the Lynn Item. I am moved by your strength. I will pray for your continued progress and recovery. I have a friend whose son is paralyzed from a high school football injury. I believe he goes to UNH as well. He is a remarkable young man and you are too. You have a great attitude and that helps with the recovery process. They are making leaps and bounds with spinal cord rehabilitation which I'm sure you know. I wish you the best of luck and a full recovery.
