Family and friends of Marcus A. are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Marcus’ life was thrown into an upheaval when he was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease a few years ago. His condition worsened quickly to the point he was placed on the waiting list for a kidney transplant. Having already undergone several surgeries and being a cancer survivor. He has shown us that he is truly a fighter.
Marcus has been known throughout his local community and the country for his creativity and deep love for the Arts. He is a man of extreme faith and is a devoted, loving, and benevolent son, brother, god-father, uncle, and friend.
So after many years of helping others, Marcus is now the one who needs our help. Transplants are life saving, but financially draining. Even with insurance, Marcus is facing very high expenses including commuting back and forth to the hospital for appointments, pre- and post-transplant medications of up to $5,000 a month, co-pays, lab fees and more. All which could top upwards of $60,000 a year for the rest of his life!
All contributions are tax deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Atlantic Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider making a contribution by clicking Donate Now.
If we all work together, we can make Marcus’ prospects for the future much brighter.
Being an actor and a singer. Marcus’ greatest joy is performing on stage and in front of the camera. With your continued support, he can return to the spotlight and share his passion for the arts with audiences of all ages.
From the depths of our hearts,
Thank you for your support!
