My friend, Guadalupe Noyola suffers from end stage kidney disease and has been on dialysis for over two years. He is currently on the waiting list for a life-saving kidney transplant at Texas Health Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
Guadalupe was always an outgoing person who enjoys spending time with his family, friends and traveling. Unfortunately, his health has declined and now he is no longer able to work or do much of what we all take for granted. Once he has received a transplant he looks forward to continuing his education, returning to work and becoming an active member of the community again.
As you can imagine a transplant is very expensive. Even with insurance, there are many expenses that must be covered out of pocket. Some of these expenses are co-pays, deductibles, lab fees and Guadalupe will be on a life-time of anti-rejection medications. This is where your support is needed.
To help with the financial burden of Guadalupeās uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Central Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider a contribution. Donate by clicking on the Donate Now button on this page.
On behalf of Guadalupe, his family, and myself, thank you for your kindness, generosity, support and prayers.
