Carl’s life was thrown into upheaval when he was diagnosed with COPD in 2008 and again in 2014 with the discovery of asbestosis. Carl served in the United States Air Force where he was a radio relay repairman. It has been discovered that this is where he was exposed to the asbestosis. In Carl’s professional life he worked for 15+ years for United Telephone where he was exposed to asbestos and chemicals a second time. Carl is currently being evaluated for placement on the lung transplant list. A lung transplant is his only option.

You may know Carl from his beloved church, Diamond Hills Baptist where he is a deacon, sang in the choir and runs sound for all church events. Or, you may know him from United Telephone or American Health Network where Carl worked as a Senior Systems Engineer for 10 years. Or, perhaps you met him through his wife, Kathy Crowe or his kids Benjamin and Jennifer Crowe.

I wish you the best in everything, but shouldn't you also be receiving Veterans Benefits to help with expenses. You served our country and you deserve it
