Shaun Arrington is only 37 years-old, and desperately needs your help. Shaun is fighting the battle of his life, and suffering from a serious and progressive form of cancer, known as Acute Myeloid Leukemia or AML. AML is a cancer of the blood, characterized by the rapid growth of abnormal white blood cells that accumulate in the bone marrow and interfere with the production of normal cells. If left untreated, Shaun’s health will continue to decline, and his precious time with his children will quickly run out. Shaun’s condition can be successfully treated with a form of therapy known as a bone marrow transplant. This involves replacing the unhealthy or cancerous blood-forming cells in Shaun’s body, with healthy cells or good bone marrow. Shaun still needs someone to donate the gift of life, through a priceless and lifesaving bone marrow donation. If you or a loved one is interested in this act of kindness, please immediately contact Betsie Letterie, at the [email protected] to see if you are a match (BeTheMatch.org).
Shaun is a resilient, strong and courageous young man who single handedly supports his two young children. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need, and has asked for very little during his life. Shaun is a full-time widowed father, and in the space of week, Shaun lost his grandmother and mother; sadly his children’s mother also left this earth too soon. Shaun does not want his children to lose him too, and will do anything to be there to watch them grow up! But Shaun cannot do it alone.

He is getting ready to face the biggest challenge of his life, and is a true hero to his young children and community. Please reach out and help Shaun with his fight for life!
