On Saturday, March 8, Help Hope Live will restore hope and mobility for a 12-year-old Santa Monica girl who lost all her belongings in the Palisades fires, including her cherished adaptive bike.
Preteen Parker Grace, known affectionately as “Pippi,” was born with a rare genetic deletion that significantly impacts her vision and muscle tone. Due to her limited strength and mobility, Pippi requires assistance with all daily activities. Riding an adaptive bike is the one thing that gave Pippi the freedom to feel independent. Without a custom-built bike for her abilities, she can no longer join her friends on the Santa Monica bike path.
Help Hope Live has teamed up with our friends at Freedom Concepts to make biking accessible again for Pippi.
Join us at 2 p.m. PST at Help Hope Live’s booth (#533) at the Abilities Expo Los Angeles as we meet Pippi and her family in person for the first time to deliver her new adaptive bike.
With a price tag of $5,000 or more, adaptive bikes are often financially out-of-reach for families, which is why this special giveaway will be life-changing for Pippi and her family as they work to rebuild their lives following the fires.
We are grateful for the generous support of partners like the Rosenblatt Foundation for making this adaptive bike donation possible.
Your support of our mission makes these moments happen.
