On Saturday, May 3, Help Hope Live will surprise 6-year-old Zachary Smith, of Fords, NJ, with a custom adaptive bike at Abilities Expo New York Metro.
This event marks a significant milestone for Zachary and Help Hope Live. We first met Zachary and his family at last year’s Expo, where his mother shared:
“Zach fell in love with the Freedom Concepts tricycle. It’s a great way for him to get exercise and play at the same time.”
Unfortunately, Zach insurance denied coverage of the specialized adaptive equipment.
Enter Help Hope Live. We’ve partnered with our friends at Freedom Concepts to build a custom bike tailored specifically for Zachary’s abilities, at no cost to his family!
Join us at 2 p.m. ET at Help Hope Live’s booth (#435) at Abilities Expo New York Metro for the exciting reveal!
With a price tag exceeding $5,000, adaptive bikes are often too expensive for families, making this giveaway truly transformative for Zachary and his loved ones.
We appreciate the generous support of partners like the Rosenblatt Foundation for making this adaptive bike donation possible.
