Matching funds from GivingTuesday Facebook Fundraisers have arrived! Here are answers to some of the most common questions we’ve received about these matching funds.
Where can I see the match?
The match will appear on your List of Contributors in your Dashboard. It will be a separate entry from the funds raised by your pre-match GivingTuesday Facebook Fundraiser.

Are more matching funds coming?
No – the entry you see on your List of Contributors represents all the matching funds we processed from Facebook in your honor.
Why didn’t I receive a larger match?
Facebook sends matching funds to Help Hope Live in one lump sum. Facebook does not break this sum down by match percentages or dollar amount for each GivingTuesday Facebook Fundraiser.
With this fact in mind, to be as fair as possible about how we distribute these funds in honor of clients, we applied a 10% match to each donation made to a Facebook Fundraiser on GivingTuesday in honor of a client.
Here’s an example…
Your GivingTuesday Facebook Fundraiser raised $300 on GivingTuesday.
One person donated $100 and one person donated $200 on GivingTuesday.
We apply the Facebook match to each donation at 10% for an additional $10 and $20, or $30 total.
