Eleanor has had to pause all medical treatments due to the out-of-pocket cost. To help, Eleanor’s loving community is fundraising through the trusted national nonprofit Help Hope Live. They’ve raised over $2,700 in her honor less than 4 months.

The campaign in Rachelle’s honor raised over $73,000 within the first 2 years. It took 3 more years of patience and waiting before she got her miracle: Rachelle received a double lung transplant in May 2021.

While the family escaped safely, their van was totaled in the flood, and insurance won’t cover the total cost of an accessible van.
