This year, 37-year-old Michael Walthall recognizes 10 years since the shocking act of violence that forever changed his life. Today, he is approaching life with paralysis with a big dose of hope and purpose. To help fuel that journey, his community has raised over $1,200 with the nonprofit Help Hope Live, assisting with paralysis-related costs that insurance does not fully cover.

47-year-old Ronaldo Hinton has been battling liver disease and is now in need of a liver transplant. To make it possible, his medical team has advised him to raise $9,000. The community can help through a fundraising campaign in Ronaldo’s honor with the trusted national nonprofit Help Hope Live.

Mom Tammy shared with us that thanks to community support and the extra boost from FOX coverage, the fundraiser at Kaylie’s elementary school in July 2026 was a big success, raising more than $10,000 for Help Hope Live in her honor.
