In May, the mom of 14-year-old Elly Welch, took the time to share her family’s experiences with Prader-Willi Syndrome.

Jennifer shared how the diagnosis has impacted Elly, including mobility and health challenges as she experiences cognitive and developmental delays.
“Never give up. Be your child’s voice. I’ve had to prove a lot of doctors wrong.”
Jennifer explained the financial burdens that their family must fight against to bring a safe, healthy, and satisfying life within reach for their daughter. That’s why they started fundraising with us in May 2025. First on the list: a reliable accessible van.
