Fresno native with rare disorder fights for life changing wheelchair insurance won’t cover: Aly Corvin

Aly Corvin

Aly Corvin is interviewed in Dec 2025 by FOX with headline Central Valley Native Aly Corvin Needs Your Help to Get Specialized Chair - Ms. Wheelchair America Ambassador.

Aly Corvin’s campaign title says it all: “She Deserves the Help She Gives!!!”

Aly lives with rare genetic diagnoses, including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS). She’s spent years navigating the associated health challenges – not to mention ableism, lack of understanding, disbelief and doubt at her medical reality, and financial hardship.

It’s a credit to Aly’s determination and work ethic that these challenges aren’t what she’s known for, despite how persistently they impact the course of her life. As Ms. Wheelchair California 2025, she built a reputation for being a talented dancer, a perpetual helper and volunteer, an advocate, and an activist.

In 2025, Aly’s social media accounts went viral with an infusion of community support flowing to the Help Hope Live campaign in her honor. We interviewed Aly for our blog in September 2025, and this interview with a local news station will help bring her story to even more members of her community.

So far, $32,000 has been raised in her honor.
