Transplant recipient from Muhlenberg gets boost from bowlers

The family of 10-year-old Kaylie Hammond came to Help Hope Live for medical fundraising in October 2025. Since then, their loving community has raised over $20,000 in Kaylie’s honor. We interviewed mom Tammy, who adopted Kaylie and her brother in 2019, to learn about life with Kaylie and how fundraising has made an impact.

Even with Medicaid benefits, in the first year after Logan’s injury, they spent $67,000 out of pocket on medical expenses and related costs. Seven months after their medical crisis began, Logan’s family found Help Hope Live and started fundraising.

With one-on-one assistance at every turn, the #Hope4Hoey campaign in Patrick’s honor raised $160,000 within the first year.
