Sam Needs Your Help

Thanksgiving:
Sam is home! He is recovering well and is ahead of schedule. Sam and Nancy had Thanksgiving dinner at home with family. With recovery going well, Sam plans on being reactivated on the heart transplant list in the near future. Thanks for all the prayers, support, and donations. Please continue to donate to help Sam and Nancy. Again, Thank-You!

Sam did not get the heart transplant he was hoping for but, got a LVAD (heart pump) implanted today. He is doing well and has a long recovery ahead. They just removed his breathing tube around 7pm. Nancy and the kids were able to speak with him before he rested for the night. So far everything has went as planned (no complications during surgery and all of his tests are good). He is in the CT-ICU at UPMC Presbyterian. Please remember to donate using this campaign page. Thank you.
