Our son Lucas needs help. He had his heart transplant on July 15, 2023. He has health insurance but some of his medicine isn’t covered by his insurance. We have a long road ahead of us with traveling back and forth to Duke Hospital. I had to resign from my job. Family and friends of Lucas Barbour are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
