Family and friends of Austin Tschida are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.

Austin was diagnosed with Gamma Delta T-cell lymphoma in October, 2023. T-cell lymphoma is only 5% of all lymphoma, the Gamma Delta makes it even more rare and aggressive. The first cocktail of chemo did not get the cancer under control. Starting on January 31st, the U of M oncology team is going to try an antibody treatment in conjunction with a new chemo cocktail. They need to get and hold the cancer 80 to 90% in control. The final step will be to hospitalize Austin, remove his stem cells, kill all the bad messengers in his body and finally transplant his stem cell back to his body. Austin will then have to regain his strength and his immune system.
