Help HOPE Live for Gary Bolton

Hello Thank You For Visiting!

We are please to welcome you to Help Hope Live Gary Bolton, a special page of motivation and support. We are here writing to you on behalf of our inspiring friend, Gary Bolton. He has always been an outgoing guy with passion for life, who lives for exciting adventures and helping people overcome adversities! Meanwhile, he is in need for more home health care, costly adaptive aids, mobility devices and a reliable modified wheelchair accessible van to improve his overall independence for a better quality of life. He remains patient for health care advancements and technology breakthroughs, as much as a possible cure for Spinal Cord Injuries in the future. He prays that people stay safe, healthy, active and remain hopefully during this times.

COMMUNITY HELPING QUADRIPLEGIC TO DRIVE, WALK & WORK AGAIN$28,000 Raised in Honor of Gary Bolton After Life-Changing Injury HOUSTON, Texas—Gary Bolton has spent the past 16 years living with paralysis and embracing hard work, community, independence, and possibilities. A fundraising campaign in his honor through the national nonprofit Help Hope Live is bringing new possibilities within his reach, including driving, working, and walking again with the help of specialized therapy and equipment. Donations can be made at: https://helphopelive.org/campaign/354/ Gary was just 23 years old when a car accident changed his life forever. He was a backseat passenger in the wreck that left him with a paralyzing spinal cord injury. While the accident robbed him of the movement in his legs and most of the movement in his arms, Gary committed to hope, hard work, and progress. A decade and a half later, Gary’s dedication to intensivetherapy has allowed him to restore some of the movement in his hands and arms. He’s put more than 60 hours into learning how to drive again with adaptive vehicle controls, and in March 2025, he secured his newdriver’s license. Gary lives in Friendswood, about 30 minutes from downtown Houston, and spends his free time advocating on behalf of the spinal cord injury community, but he also hopes that he can re-enter the workforce in the near future. In September 2024, he was presented the Champion of Inclusion (COIN) award from the Houston Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities. “It took me 16 years to get this far,” he explained, “and I am so thankful for how this community has lifted me up and provided for me so far.”As he turns 40 this year, Gary believes that there is still a lot of hope, independence, and mobility to unlock for his future—with a little more help from his Houston community. A fundraising campaign with the nonprofit Help Hope Live will help fund the keys to a more independent future. The campaign has already helped Gary cover the cost of physical therapy sessions and home modifications for wheelchair access. Life-changing costs that insurance won’t cover include a wheelchair accessible van, adaptive aids, and specialized therapy treatments. With help, Gary can drive again, begin a new career, and even train his body to walk again with assistance. “Through my work and advocacy, I want to dedicate my time to improving our community and the lives of other spinal cord injury survivors,” Gary explained. “To do that, I need things insurance won’t cover. That’s why I am so grateful for this community’s support, from small businesses and local organizations to individual donors. It truly takes a village.” Donations can be made at: https://helphopelive.org/campaign/354/ Unlike a GoFundMe campaign, donations to Help Hope Live are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, and all funds raised will be administered by the nonprofit to cover verified medical and related expenses. Help Hope Live verifies medical and financial need for every patient. Help Hope Live is a national nonprofit that specializes in engaging communities in secure, tax-deductible fundraising campaigns for people who need a transplant or are affected by a catastrophic injury or illness. Since 1983, campaigns organized by Help Hope Live have raised over $193 million to pay patient expenses, assisting more than 25,000 patient families.#HelpHopeLiveGaryBolton

Seasons Greetings with a GIVING Tuesday Fundraising For Help Hope Live In honor of Gary Bolton on December. 2nd!

Hi Community, I HOPE this message update finds you and your family well! As the holidays are approaching I HOPE that you will be blessed with positive vibes, good health and wellness, love, joy, peace and happiness!I am reaching out to share my sincere gratitude and give you an update on how you can get involved with a HUGE day of giving coming up on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

December 2 is Giving Tuesday, and on that day, the medical fundraising nonprofit Help Hope Live will cover the credit card fees for donations made in my honor. I want to thank you for the role you’ve already played in this fundraising campaign. Thanks to the community we’ve been able to cover so many major medical costs over the past few years— from physical therapy, some home modifications. Currently. Gary’s essentially is in desperate need of a reliable customized wheelchair accessible Braunability van that is outfitted with a wheelchair ramp lift that is very costly. The accessible van is not fully covered by insurance. In addition this I worked hard with over 60+ hours vocational driving training with a certified vocational adaptive driving training instructor with Strowmatt Rehabilitation Services and has passed finished the DPS road course with using adaptive electronic mobility control equipment to safely operate the modified vehicle from his Permobil F5 power wheelchair independently.

This is a HUGE accomplishment for me as I been reclaiming my independence to become more functional in the community. Looking forward to re-entering the workforce and workplace of inclusion.

We still need a lot of help and we are very close to hitting the financial goal to purchase the Braunability wheelchair accessible van from United Access, a reputable national mobility vehicle dealer company. It takes a village and we are grateful for you.

That’s why we want to thank you in advance for your support donations and helping us to spread the word. The Help HOPE Live charity, is a 501(c) nonprofit organization is dedicated to bringing awareness to Help HOPE Live in honor of Gary Bolton’s for fundraising goal “Drive For More Independence And Mobility Freedom campaign.” Together we are striving with an ongoing community donation pledge matching challenge fundraiser for his charity benefiting Gary Bolton’s catastrophic spinal cord injury fund.

To make a donation, go to: www.helphopelive.org/campaign/354/

Your donation is tax deductible and will go a long way to improving Gary’s quality of life with embracing his independence and mobility freedom. If now is not a good time to donate but you’d like to help us plan and share this fundraising opportunity, we’d love your help! Reply to this email and I can tell you how to share or get involved with us.

THANK YOU for all you’ve done to put HOPE and help into our lives. Wishing you and your family a safe and blessed Happy Holidays season!
