Gary was born and raised in Oklahoma City. After graduating from high school in 1969, he went to work for Wilson’s Food until they closed in 1992. He then went on to get his electrical license and worked as a Union Electrician for 20 years. He retired from Chugotch at Tinker Air Force in 2014 due to his worsening medical condition. He is the father of three and has two grandchildren. He our mom, Darla, have been married for over 30 years. Gary was an avid golfer and looks forward to playing again someday.
Transplants are a new chance at life but are financially draining; even with insurance the co-pays and deductibles are overwhelming. Many transplant-related expenses are out-of-network or are not covered. To help with the financial burden of his uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in Gary’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive. To make a tax-deductible donation, click Donate Now.
For more information, please contact HelpHOPELive at 800.642.8399.
Thank you for your support and generosity. Please watch for details about the upcoming golf tournament fundraiser.
Sincerely,
Shelly, Gary, and Justin
