He’s had 5 strokes and brain surgery. But his main objective? Find a kidney for his wife

Help Hope Live in the News

Keli Thorn

Aaron Thorn has received incredible feedback from neighbors and strangers alike since he put his heart on the line and wore a NEED KIDNEY sign to find his wife, Keli Thorn, a donor. Aaron is himself recovering from brain surgery and five strokes. Together, they are raising four children ages 11 to 21.

They are fundraising with Help Hope Live to meet the $4,300 minimum they need to enable Keli to pay a major medical bill required for her to receive a transplant.

“The tears puddle every time when he recalls the kindness of strangers during the past year, easily the most difficult of his 22-year marriage to Keli.”
