So…what’s GivingTuesday?
GivingTuesday is an annual international day of giving, designed to encourage communities to donate to nonprofits like ours and get involved in causes that matter to them.
What’s special about GivingTuesday?
GivingTuesday is Help Hope Live’s single largest day of giving of the year.
On GivingTuesday, we typically receive four times more donations than on any other day!
We also provide an exclusive GivingTuesday benefit to client campaigns:
Between midnight ET on Tuesday, December 2 and 3 a.m. ET on Wednesday, December 3, Help Hope Live will cover the credit card fee for all donations made in honor of a client at test-helphopelive.pantheonsite.io/.
That means every donation made on GivingTuesday makes a bigger impact!
Our low 3% admin fee still applies, but donors have the option to cover this fee as part of their donation.
How can Help Hope Live clients and their communities take part?
Your first step is to call our email your Client Services Coordinator to let them know you’re interested! Find their contact information in your Dashboard after you log in.
We’ll email you when our GivingTuesday Toolkit releases. Our toolkit will include everything you need to work with me to plan a strategy for spreading the word this year—before, during, and after December 2.
You’ll get customized materials including a flyer and campaign picture, and we’ll provide tips and examples for writing emails to your community, gathering support on social media, and more.
It’s a big day and a big opportunity to connect with your community and share why their support matters and how they can give big on GivingTuesday.
