Differences from NFT
While NFT shared the challenges they have experienced in recent years, we are fortunate to have only grown stronger, having increased our fundraising support and strengthened our partnerships to support patient families as fully as possible.
We are in a strong financial position to take on new clients and appreciate the opportunity to bring our trusted medical fundraising support to more patient families in need.
Since 1983, Help Hope Live has been the premier nonprofit provider of transplant fundraising support for patient families and a trusted partner to medical professionals, hospitals, and other organizations that serve transplant families.
Through both digital communications and in-person events, including annual transplant conferences, we are always willing to share and showcase our differences from other fundraising options.

Our Size and Scope
- Help Hope Live is the only nonprofit platform dedicated to raising funds for individuals facing unmet needs resulting from transplants, traumatic injuries, and illnesses.
- We have provided financial help and community support to more than 22,000 patient families, making over 4,900 transplants possible.
Our Financial Health
- Help Hope Live has a proven track record of success helping thousands of families across the United States since our founding in 1983, and we are committed to transparency in our operations.
- For the 19th year in a row, we have earned the highest possible 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for our financial efficiency, sustainability, and trust in executing our mission. Less than 1% of all charities can claim this distinction, indicating that “Help Hope Live outperforms most other charities in America.”
Nationally ranked in the top 1% of all charities, we have helped raise more than $181 million to pay for life-changing medical care and equipment.
Our Fundraising Approach
Unlike NFT, at Help Hope Live, funds raised are held in regionally restricted funds in honor of our clients to pay medical and related expenses.
Funds raised help place medical care within reach of about 5,600 patient families. We disburse more than $7 million annually to cover patient expenses.
