A cyclist, cycling instructor, and father,  Bill received a heart transplant in June 2015. He was back on his bike just 10 weeks later.

180 days post-heart transplant, billed charges can top $222,800 according to national data.

Supported by a peer mentor during his transplant journey, Bill now mentors others: “I show people that transplant does work, and to have a positive mental attitude going into it.”
