Diane is an award-winning educator and jazz performer. During a live performance in April 2016, Diane experienced a stroke that left her paralyzed on her left side.

“Diane is paying out-of-pocket for full-time nursing and home health care seven days per week, plus the cost of physical therapy, at roughly $75,000 per year.”

With help from fundraisers and seasonal appeals, Diane has been able to access the care she needs to achieve major milestones, including swaying to music, sitting unassisted, and taking steps in therapy sessions.
