Love, hope and purpose in fatherhood

A decorative newsprint graphic.

Kevin Jeans-Gail

“Kevin Jeans Gail once rode bikes, swam and hiked.  Now, at age 67, he’s paralyzed below the shoulders.”

Kevin Jeans-Gail lost his wife and daughter in 2003. Fourteen years later, Kevin sustained a life-altering spinal cord injury while swimming in the Atlantic.

Today, he and his sons keep each other safe and sane. An article and striking photos in the Oregonian capture their life today.

“I’m continuing to grow as a father.”
