Pamela Byrd Lamb

“This is my story, and we’re just getting started.”
Pamela Byrd Lamb spent 30 years as a rehabilitation therapist specializing in neurologic dysfunction, but in 2015, everything changed when she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s herself.
As a local news article explained, Pamela turned to Help Hope Live for fundraising after losing her employer-based health benefits:
“Lamb, now unable to fund her treatments, needs to cover $28,000 out-of-pocket for five days of intensive targeted treatment.”
Her community has rallied to support this need. $5,000 had been raised for Help Hope Live in Pamela’s honor as of January 6, but less than 2 weeks later, the fundraising total has jumped to over $16,000.
“The outpouring of love, prayers, messages, and incredibly generous donations since I shared my story have been truly overwhelming—in the best way.”
