“Before the accident, I was living my dream in every way…”

52-year-old Celeste Glover has been living with paralysis from the waist down since a motorcycle accident. Just 2 years after the accident, she prepared to compete in a 5K event as part of the Tuscon Garmin Marathon.

She’s been training in her neighborhood for months using special wheels on her wheelchair.

“It’s getting back to someplace I used to be. It’s regaining a part of myself that I have missed.”

In addition to her Help Hope Live Campaign Page, Celeste maintains a website to showcase her progress in rehabilitation at onmyfeet.org.

“Doing marathons, I feel alive. I feel empowered.”
