Roddneicka Deshawon Joseph

“I’m getting the hang of it – I’m doing most things myself or with assistance. It’s a challenge, but I’m making it.”
We are so grateful to Ashley Renee and the Louisiana First news network for giving our client Roddneicka Joseph the opportunity to share her story and her fundraising campaign.
24-year-old Roddneicka has had mobility issues since birth, but a dance class injury in middle school exacerbated her challenges. Now diagnosed with cerebral palsy and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuritis, Roddneicka has turned to Help Hope Live to help with the cost of an accessible van.
These barriers have not represented the end of Roddneicka’s story. As coverage explained:
“Despite the challenges she has faced, Joseph continues to move forward with determination. She is currently studying to become a medical assistant, inspired by the doctors and medical professionals who have supported her throughout her journey. She hopes to one day help others in the same way she has been helped.”

Roddneicka speaks about her story, her challenges, and her future with a soft-spoken power and evident grace. Her words of wisdom to anyone else facing similar hardships:
“Just never give up. Always keep God first in your life.”
