Rosemary Stoddard

Living with long COVID, Rosemary Stoddard and her loving husband of 39 years, David, were shocked to learn in 2023 that the diagnosis had led to pulmonary fibrosis – and Rosemary would need a transplant to survive.
Each month, she makes the trip from her home in South Carolina to her transplant hospital in North Carolina, which specializes in the double lung transplant she needs.

The out-of-pocket costs associated with the transplant are extensive, from Rosemary’s current medical travel to the six months of medical relocation required to heal post-surgery.
In just 2 months, her community has raised over $20,000 for the cause through Help Hope Live.
Support has exceeded her local area with Rosemary’s daughter in Massachusetts fundraising through a unique Haircut-a-thon earlier this year.
