“Even accepting her body’s limitations, Hendrickson chooses hope and gratitude. If anyone can overcome these immense obstacles, it’s her.”
55-year-old Tracy Lynn Hendrickson recognized Ehlers-Danlos syndrome month in May by sharing her experiences with the diagnosis.
Like many living with EDS, Tracy experienced debilitating pain that wasn’t taken seriously by doctors, making it harder to get a diagnosis and pursue meaningful care options.

She has waited for and diligently pursued the specialized care she needs, including a seldom-performed surgery that will help stabilize her head and neck. However:
“She has six more surgeries after this one that don’t involve her spine.”
Those surgeries require co-pays, medical travel, and other expenses insurance doesn’t fully cover, which is why Tracy has turned to Help Hope Live for trusted medical fundraising support.
“She can’t thank all the people enough for their love and support as she navigates a rough road she hopes will be smoothing out soon.”
